This place is fantastic! We got the tip from our friend and are so happy we took the 40 min drive. If you are ever in the region I highly recommend you to go there.
We did a typical aperitivo and the food with it was incredible!!!! The owner is such a sweet person and a great host.
We were 5 people and had a drink each and I even had two 😁 (it was my birthday) and we ate a lot and it cost us only 80.00 EUR. Totally worth it!!!
They also have their homemade truffle honey and it was so good and unexpected.

Paolino 848 is a true hidden gem in Campania in the municipality of Trentinara.
It's an amazing dining experience.
The place is an authentic paradise for lovers of good wine and beyond. Personally I have tasted everything since we have now been customers and friends since they opened, in addition to the fantastic welcome consisting of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by truffle honey, the meatballs with sauce and the paoliccio are definitely worth trying🤤.
For wines you will find a vast choice of every price and quality range;
Surely Donato or Mauro will be able to guide you in your choice.
As a final piece of advice "if you need to drink a little" Paolino 848 has some accommodations "to book" which retain the fantastic characteristics of the historic center area of Trentinara.

Excellent aperitif in the historic center of Trentinara. Paolino has arranged the tables in the most evocative corners of the historic center, the interiors are also very nice, with a retro taste. The aperitif consists of a welcome meal based on cheeses, soppressata and tarallini, all accompanied by excellent truffle honey. You can order stuffed focaccia and meatballs. Excellent choice of wines
